Founder of FOQUS · trades futures on Binance
FOQUS is the pen name of a real person: the founder of FOQUS. I build this trading journal and trade futures on Binance myself. The blog’s articles come out under my name.
FOQUS records my Binance trades by itself, as it does for anyone who connects an exchange. The journal is public: anyone can see its results, statistics and every trade, with no sign-up.
What to log before entry, after exit and at review, shown on a real Binance trade: risk and R, MAE and MFE, fees, and what price did after the exit.
The position size formula from your risk per trade, worked examples for a leveraged USDT perpetual and an MT5 forex lot, and what losing streaks cost.
MAE is a trade's worst open loss, MFE its best open profit. Formulas, R multiples and three real Binance trades: a stop, slippage and profit given back.
Step by step for Bybit, Binance and OKX: create a read-only API key, keep trading and withdrawals off, bind IPs, and check or delete a key.
A Binance Futures trading journal that fills itself: every USDⓈ-M position with fees, funding and stops. All it needs is a key with Enable Reading.
A free Bybit trading journal that fills itself: every USDT and USDC perpetual trade, with stops, fees and funding. Connect a read-only API key.
A free OKX trading journal: USDT and USDC perpetual swaps land in it on their own, with stops, funding and fees. Needs a Read-only key and its passphrase.
Free MT5 trading journal: positions, stops, swaps and commissions from your MetaTrader 5 account go in on their own. The investor password is enough.
Free trading journal template for Excel and Google Sheets. Enter prices, stop and fees — risk, R, expectancy and the cost of mistakes are calculated.
